The heysterman academy for health and social affairs in Alpen offers you training places to become a state-registered nursing care specialist starting in 2020, and always commencing on 1 October of the relevant year. Theoretical training takes place in our state-registered nursing school at our Alpen location.

Training content
Practice-oriented training content [2,500 teaching units]
Getting to know the field of practice, taking into account institutional and legal framework conditions as well as technical concepts in inpatient/outpatient care, rehab, vigilant coma ward, psychiatry, paediatrics, hospice and nursing support base
Shaping/collaborating in the implementation of basic care and medical treatment care, from small children to the final phase of life
Planning, implementation and evaluation of holistic individual care situations
Admission requirements
• At least 18 years of age
• Personal suitability and suitability from a health perspective
• Graduation from a middle school (Realschule) or final school leaving qualifications (Abitur)
• German language level B2
