Tips for getting here with no difficulties
By train or bus
The heysterman academy for health and social affairs is easy to reach by train or bus. If you would like to travel by train, please take the NordwestBahn connection from Moers to Alpen. Alpen train station is approximately 500 m from the town centre! Otherwise, you can arrive by bus. Please take the following bus connections: • Alpen-Rheinberg (line 9), Kevelaer station – Alpen – Wesel station (line 37) • Alpen – Rheinberg (line 38), Alpen – Xanten (line 41) • Xanten station – Alpen – Rheinberg station (line 65 • Geldern station – Alpen – Wesel station (line 67) • Geldern – Alpen – Wesel station (SB 7) The heysterman academy reimburses every student for monthly or annual travelcards from the Wesel/Moers municipal utilities, against proof of costs, up to 124.00 EUR per school year!
By car and parking facilities
If you want to travel by car, it is best to leave the motorway (A57) at the “Alpen” exit. Follow the federal highways (B 57 and B58) or regional roads (L460 and L491) leading to Alpen. Parking spaces can be found in the immediate vicinity of our nursing campus.
